The 2022 Melbourne Cat Lovers Show is set to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in South Wharf on the 4th and 5th of June.
The change in location is due to the Victorian Government now using the previous venue, the Royal Exhibition Building, as a vaccination hub.
By hosting the event at the MCEC, it means the entire show will be able to be held in indoors, on one level, in a completely weather protected, climate-controlled space which will deliver a far superior experience for exhibitors, visitors, and of course cats.
Those with existing contracts will be provided with the first option to secure the best locations, and the organisors have already done a preliminary allocation to match REB locations with the MCEC stands in terms of stand size, location, and proximity to key attractions.
Organisors will be in touch with exhibitors shortly to discuss options and ensure the final stand location ticks all the boxes.
